How to play House of Hazards
Choose Play for a local match or Time Trial to learn the house on your own. In Play, pick how many players are taking part, then choose a character and a house.
Every round gives each player a household task such as making coffee, checking the mailbox or watering the flowers. Reach the task and finish it while the other players try to trip you up.
The house is full of traps: flying toast, misfiring taps, lasers and falling lights. You can also grab a stunned housemate and lock them in a chest. Finish your tasks, or be the last one standing, to win.
House of Hazards game modes
- Play. A local match for up to four players, with two on the keyboard, two on gamepads and AI opponents filling any empty slots.
- Time Trial. A solo run through the house to learn the layout and controls without other players.
- Settings. Adjust the sound and music from the main menu.
Tips and tricks
- Start with Time Trial so you can learn where each task and hazard is before friends join.
- Crouch before you grab a stunned player, then carry them to a chest while they cannot move.
- Winning a game unlocks a new character, so keep playing to fill out the roster.
